Since 2009, she has been the director and founder of ExpressArte London, a platform dedicated to delivering high-impact artistic and multicultural projects that integrate art, culture, ancestral wisdom, environmental awareness, and social action.
She has been an advisor to Glastonbury Festival for over a decade, supporting the inclusion of Latin American projects and ancestral knowledge in key areas of the festival, including the opening ceremony. Alejandra has also developed and produced her own independent festivals and events mainly in Mexico and the United Kingdom, focused on culture, sustainability, and ancestral traditions.
Through her work, she facilitates Circles of Ancestral Wisdom, creating spaces for collective reflection, healing, and cultural connection in international festival and community settings in different parts of the world. Her mission is to support the unification of spiritual leaders and the respectful expansion of indigenous ancestral wisdom, fostering reconnection to roots, identity, and collective memory.
Her strategic vision had enabled the successful delivery of commercial and social campaigns for private brands and charitable organizations in the United Kingdom, as well as collaborations in Mexico with government bodies and senior business leaders on significant cultural and social initiatives.
Omar is a Lead Security Specialist and Cybernetics Futurist at Google, with over 20 years of experience advising global firms like Deloitte and HSBC on secure digital transformation. At the Chamber, he leads the Alliance and Technology Committees, driving strategic partnerships and innovation.
A pillar of the Mexican professional community in the UK, Omar has served as President of Red Global MX UK since 2019, connecting high-potential talent with international opportunities.
He is also a Patron of MEXpreneurs, a platform accelerating Mexican tech founders globally, and a founding member of the ISC2 London Chapter.
Omar holds an MSc in Business Innovation from Birkbeck, University of London, and has completed executive specialisation in Artificial Intelligence at the University of Oxford.
David Martinez is a voting member of BAFTA and serves as the Executive Director of the Raindance Film Festival in London. With over 15 years of experience, he is dedicated to supporting independent filmmakers. Additionally, he works as an events and awards consultant, advising on film awards campaigns for voters across the OSCARS and BAFTA, particularly for Live-Action, Animated, and Documentary short films.
He has been a juror at several competitions, including BAFTA, the Guadalajara Film Festival, Cyprus Film Festival, Lucca Film Festival, and the Global Entertainment Awards. David holds a Master of Arts in Film Studies from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from UNAM and UC Santa Barbara.
Manuel served for 12 years as Regional Director of Tourism for Europe and Emerging Markets for the Mexico Ministry of Tourism, where he helped reposition Mexico not only as a beach destination but as a country rich in culture, gastronomy, art and design. Based in London, he organised major cultural events including MEXFEST and supported landmark exhibitions such as The Aztecs at the Royal Academy and Frida Kahlo at Tate Modern. During this period the UK became Mexico’s most important tourism market in Europe. He also created the luxury hotel guide Mexico Chic, which later grew into the international Chic Collection
María Fernanda Rodríguez is Legal Director at The Lift. She leads the group’s legal and compliance agenda, including corporate governance, support for international operations, and the negotiation and management of contracts in the audiovisual industry.
Emma is a dual-qualified corporate lawyer (England & Wales and Mexico) with extensive experience advising clients on complex cross-border transactions. She has represented sellers, buyers, private equity funds, and investors in mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures across multiple sectors.
Fluent in English and Spanish, and with a strong understanding of both legal and business cultures, Emma is well-positioned to facilitate international collaboration—particularly between the UK and Mexico. She also advises public and private companies on corporate governance and regulatory compliance, helping them navigate evolving legal frameworks in both jurisdictions. In addition to her work in M&A, Emma has experience in capital markets, guiding clients through IPOs and related regulatory processes. Based in London, Emma plays a key role in fostering UK-Mexico business relations as Secretary of the Board of the Mexican Chamber of Commerce in the UK, supporting the Chamber’s mission to strengthen bilateral commercial ties.
Alejandro is a Counsel in the London office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, one of the most prestigious and largest law firms in the world. He is a dual qualified lawyer (NY and Mexico) focused on cross-border corporate finance transactions, including debt and equity offerings, bank finance, direct lending and structured finance transactions. At Skadden, Alejandro is instrumental in the firm’s expansion in Iberia and creating connections between Europe and Latin America.
Alejandro has a deep background representing issuers, sponsors, investors and investment banks in highly complex and notable public and private investment-grade and high-yield debt offerings, initial public offerings, and follow-on equity offerings. These representations have included offerings to finance acquisitions, leveraged recapitalizations, refinancings and restructuring transactions, in addition to being active in the development of innovative financial products primarily for Latin American clients. Alejandro also advises issuers on their SEC reporting requirements and on corporate governance matters.
Yves is a globally recognised legal advisor with over 25 years of experience helping foreign investors navigate the Mexican legal and financial landscape. He leads the London office of Nader, Hayaux & Goebel and is head of its insurance and reinsurance practice. A pioneer in building transatlantic legal bridges, he founded MexCC in 2011 and has served as a key voice in promoting bilateral investment. Yves is also a frequent speaker and contributor on corporate law, finance, M&A, and regulatory matters in Latin America. He currently serves on the boards of multiple companies and organisations, and was recently appointed as a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Chapter Zero Alliance. Yves is a strong advocate for climate finance and corporate sustainability, promoting their integration into governance and decision-making processes across corporate boards.

Gabriel has spent over a decade at the forefront of the UK–Mexico commercial relationship, particularly in the insurance and reinsurance sectors. He is currently Director for Latin America at Price Forbes, a Lloyd’s of London insurance broker. He previously led Latin America Strategy & Business Development at Lloyd’s syndicate Probitas 1492 and opened Lloyd’s first syndicate operation in Mexico. Earlier in his career, he served as Mexico Country Manager at Lloyd’s Corporation. Gabriel holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from UNAM and an MBA from City University in London, combining technical depth with strategic business insight.

As Project Manager at the MexCC, Alejandra Pérez leads strategic initiatives that strengthen bilateral business ties and support the growth of Mexican and British industries. She oversees key projects that enhance member value, promote Mexico’s business offering, and facilitate meaningful connections across sectors.
Alejandra holds a Master’s degree in Political Economy from The London School of Economics.

She has a proven track record of successfully launching and scaling brands in Mexico and internationally, specializing in Brand Expansion, Key Account Management, Long-Term Business Relations, and KPI optimization.
Also, as a true entrepreneur, Erika founded her own marketing agency and promotional items company at 21. She holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Administration from Escuela Bancaria Comercial and is currently studying for an MA in Business at Northumbria University in London.
